Karawang, 04 Mei 2026 – Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA) sukses menyelenggarakan kegiatan Guest Lecture – Computer Science Insights pada tanggal 4 Mei 2026. Kegiatan ini mengangkat tema “Innovation in Engineering Through the Integration of Theory and Practice” yang menyoroti pentingnya integrasi antara pemahaman teoritis dan implementasi praktis dalam pengembangan teknologi dan engineering di era modern.
Kegiatan ini menghadirkan narasumber internasional, yaitu Dr. Zhao Haoyi dari Wuhan Vocational College of Software and Engineering. Beliau merupakan seorang Doctor of Engineering dengan pengalaman lebih dari 15 tahun dalam bidang engineering, khususnya pada pengembangan dan implementasi proyek industri berskala besar.
Dalam pemaparannya, Dr. Zhao Haoyi membagikan wawasan mengenai perkembangan engineering dan teknologi saat ini, serta pentingnya kolaborasi antara teori akademik dengan kebutuhan industri. Beliau juga menekankan bahwa inovasi tidak hanya lahir dari penguasaan konsep, tetapi juga dari kemampuan menerapkan pengetahuan tersebut untuk menyelesaikan tantangan nyata di masyarakat dan industri.
Selain memiliki pengalaman profesional yang luas, Dr. Zhao Haoyi juga dikenal aktif dalam pengembangan inovasi teknologi dengan capaian 33 paten invensi dan 11 paten utility model, serta berbagai penghargaan di bidang inovasi dan pengembangan teknologi.
Melalui kegiatan ini, mahasiswa diharapkan dapat memperoleh wawasan baru, memperluas perspektif global, serta meningkatkan motivasi untuk terus berinovasi dalam bidang teknologi dan engineering. Kegiatan ini juga menjadi sarana bagi mahasiswa untuk memahami bagaimana teori yang dipelajari di bangku perkuliahan dapat diimplementasikan secara nyata dalam dunia industri.

Karawang, May 4 2026 – The Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA), successfully held the Guest Lecture – Computer Science Insights on May 4, 2026. Carrying the theme “Innovation in Engineering Through the Integration of Theory and Practice,” the event highlighted the importance of bridging theoretical knowledge with practical implementation in the field of engineering and technology development.
The lecture featured an international speaker, Dr. Zhao Haoyi from Wuhan Vocational College of Software and Engineering. He is a Doctor of Engineering with more than 15 years of experience in engineering, particularly in large-scale industrial projects and technology implementation.
During the session, Dr. Zhao Haoyi shared valuable insights into current engineering and technological developments, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between academic theory and industrial practice. He explained that innovation is not only driven by strong theoretical understanding, but also by the ability to apply knowledge in solving real-world industrial and societal challenges.
