Karawang, 08 Mei 2026 – Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (Fasilkom UNSIKA) telah melaksanakan kegiatan Sosialisasi GEMASTIK 2026 yang ditujukan bagi mahasiswa di lingkungan internal fakultas. Kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal dalam memperkenalkan ajang kompetisi nasional di bidang Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) sekaligus mendorong mahasiswa untuk mulai mempersiapkan diri menghadapi kompetisi tersebut.
GEMASTIK (Pagelaran Mahasiswa Nasional Bidang Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi) merupakan salah satu ajang kompetisi bergengsi tingkat nasional yang diselenggarakan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas, inovasi, serta kemampuan mahasiswa dalam bidang teknologi. Melalui sosialisasi ini, mahasiswa diberikan pemahaman mengenai pelaksanaan GEMASTIK 2026, mekanisme kompetisi, hingga peluang pengembangan kemampuan dan prestasi yang dapat diraih melalui partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan tersebut.
Kegiatan sosialisasi berlangsung dengan antusiasme tinggi dari mahasiswa Fasilkom UNSIKA. Selain mendapatkan informasi mengenai kompetisi, peserta juga diajak untuk mulai membangun kesiapan diri, memperluas wawasan, serta meningkatkan semangat kolaborasi dan inovasi dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi yang semakin dinamis.
Adapun bidang yang diperkenalkan dalam GEMASTIK 2026 meliputi Programming, Cyber Security, Data Mining, UX Design, Game Development, Smart City, ICT Scientific Paper, Software Development, Smart Device, Embedded & IoT, serta ICT Business Development. Beragam bidang tersebut diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah bagi mahasiswa untuk menyalurkan minat dan kompetensi sesuai dengan keahlian masing-masing.
Melalui kegiatan ini, Fasilkom UNSIKA menunjukkan komitmennya dalam mendukung pengembangan potensi mahasiswa, khususnya dalam bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Diharapkan, sosialisasi GEMASTIK 2026 dapat menjadi awal lahirnya inovator dan talenta-talenta unggul dari Fasilkom UNSIKA yang mampu bersaing dan mengharumkan nama institusi di tingkat nasional.
Fasilkom UNSIKA Holds GEMASTIK 2026 Socialization to Encourage Students’ Readiness for National Competition
Karawang, May 8, 2026 – The Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (Fasilkom UNSIKA), successfully conducted the GEMASTIK 2026 Socialization for students within the faculty environment. The activity served as an initial step in introducing students to one of Indonesia’s prestigious national competitions in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), while also encouraging them to begin preparing for active participation in the competition.
GEMASTIK (National Student Performance in Information and Communication Technology) is a national-scale competition aimed at fostering students’ creativity, innovation, and technological capabilities. Through this socialization program, students were introduced to the overall implementation of GEMASTIK 2026, including the competition mechanism, opportunities for self-development, and the potential achievements that can be attained through participation.
The event was welcomed enthusiastically by Fasilkom UNSIKA students. In addition to gaining information about the competition, participants were encouraged to strengthen their readiness, broaden their perspectives, and enhance their collaborative and innovative spirit in facing the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
