Karawang, 22 Oktober 2026 — Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA) menerima kunjungan delegasi resmi dari Wuxi University of Technology (WXUT) dan IROOTECH Technology Co., Ltd., Tiongkok. Kunjungan resmi ini ditandai dengan pembahasan serta penandatanganan dokumen kerja sama strategis dalam rangka memperluas jejaring akademik internasional dan memperkuat pendidikan vokasi.
Kemitraan tersebut membuka peluang pelaksanaan program pertukaran mahasiswa (student exchange) serta program gelar bersama/ganda (joint/dual-degree programme). Melalui skema ini, mahasiswa diharapkan memperoleh kesempatan mengikuti jalur studi terstruktur jangka menengah hingga panjang dengan durasi satu hingga dua tahun.
Kolaborasi antarlembaga ini dilaksanakan untuk mendukung implementasi Belt and Road Initiative sekaligus memperkuat strategi internasionalisasi pendidikan vokasi. Langkah ini ditujukan untuk mencetak tenaga ahli internasional yang kompeten di bidang kecerdasan digital industri (industrial digital intelligence). Dalam hal ini, IROOTECH Technology Co., Ltd.—perusahaan platform internet industri tingkat nasional di Tiongkok yang juga menjabat sebagai Sekretariat Tiongkok untuk International Cooperation Alliance for Industrial Digitalization Talent Development—berperan dalam memfasilitasi sinergi antara perguruan tinggi dan industri.
Fakultas Ilmu Komputer (FASILKOM) Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang turut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan kunjungan internasional ini sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap penguatan kerja sama akademik dan pengembangan jejaring internasional UNSIKA. Partisipasi FASILKOM mencerminkan komitmen fakultas dalam mendukung internasionalisasi pendidikan tinggi, khususnya di bidang teknologi informasi, transformasi digital, dan pengembangan kompetensi mahasiswa yang berdaya saing global.
Pertemuan yang berlangsung pada pukul 15.00 WIB ini dihadiri oleh jajaran pimpinan dan perwakilan lembaga yang terlibat. Delegasi Wuxi University of Technology dipimpin oleh Vice President Yang Xueqin, didampingi oleh Zhang Xiaoming (Director of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation), Wu Zhaoming (Dean of the School of Management), Duan Lihua (Associate Dean of the School of Internet of Things Engineering), dan Qin Tao (Faculty, School of Mechanical Engineering). Sementara itu, IROOTECH Technology Co., Ltd. diwakili oleh Chen Lifeng (General Manager of the Education Division) serta Wang Miao (Director, International Business).
Melalui partisipasi dalam kegiatan ini, FASILKOM UNSIKA berharap dapat turut mendukung pengembangan kolaborasi internasional yang memberikan manfaat bagi peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, perluasan wawasan akademik, serta penguatan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi digital di tingkat global.
Inisiatif ini diharapkan menjadi pijakan awal bagi pembentukan kemitraan jangka panjang yang berkelanjutan dan saling menguntungkan antara UNSIKA, perguruan tinggi di Tiongkok, serta dunia industri.

Karawang, October 22, 2026 — Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA) welcomed an official delegation from Wuxi University of Technology (WXUT) and IROOTECH Technology Co., Ltd., China. The official visit was marked by discussions and the signing of strategic cooperation documents aimed at expanding international academic networks and strengthening vocational education.
The partnership opens up opportunities for student exchange and joint/dual-degree programmes. Through these schemes, students are expected to gain access to structured medium- to long-term study pathways lasting one to two years.
This inter-institutional collaboration supports the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative while strengthening the internationalization of vocational education. The initiative aims to develop internationally competitive professionals with expertise in industrial digital intelligence. In this regard, IROOTECH Technology Co., Ltd.—a national-level industrial internet platform company in China that also serves as the China Secretariat of the International Cooperation Alliance for Industrial Digitalization Talent Development—plays a role in facilitating collaboration between higher education institutions and industry.
The Faculty of Computer Science (FASILKOM) at Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang also participated in this international visit as part of its support for strengthening academic cooperation and expanding UNSIKA's international networks. FASILKOM's participation reflects the faculty's commitment to supporting the internationalization of higher education, particularly in the fields of information technology, digital transformation, and the development of globally competitive student competencies.
The meeting, which took place at 3:00 PM Western Indonesia Time (WIB), was attended by senior officials and representatives of the participating institutions. The Wuxi University of Technology delegation was led by Vice President Yang Xueqin, accompanied by Zhang Xiaoming (Director of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation), Wu Zhaoming (Dean of the School of Management), Duan Lihua (Associate Dean of the School of Internet of Things Engineering), and Qin Tao (Faculty Member, School of Mechanical Engineering).
